Set of 2 plates made in Germany, depicting the pattern of the interior of a living room scene with a lamp, picture hanging on the wall and couch. Both are numbered 17 & 31 on the back. There are a couple very tiny flakes to the paint I tried to capture in the photos. See below for microwave and oven directions: 

Most Waechtersbach is made of earthenware, which is the most fragile and absorbent dinnerware material. When used in the microwave, Waechtersbach tends to get very hot very quickly and repeated use in the microwave could cause your Waechtersbach dinnerware to craze and/or crackle. Therefore, unless specifically marked as "Microwave Safe" it is recommended that you use Waechtersbach in your microwave for warming only (30 seconds or less). Never put Waechtersbach directly into a hot conventional oven because extreme temperature changes will cause it to crack.
