Up for sale is a 1980s/1990s vintage Victoria Royal Ltd. black velvet strapless mini dress with beautiful black and gold beading at the bottom. It has a wide sash bow around the hips/waist and the lining is 100% silk. It is preowned with a couple imperfections on the velvet. It is a vintage size 8. The fit is much smaller than a modern 8. The measurements are in the pictures.

Unbelievably beautiful beaded shawl with reflective beaded fringe, bell sleeves, back zip and hook and eye closure. Lined chiffon maxi length sleeveless gown with criss cross detail on chest. Back zip closure with hook and eye. Bra strap securing snaps on straps of gown. Both items have the same tag shown, by Victoria Royal Ltd, size 8, and made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong.

Vintage Victoria Royal  Ltd 1950’s Gown Made in Hong Kong

This is a vintage evening dress. It’s made by Victoria royal limited. Made in British crown. Colony of Hong Kong. Size 10. dry clean only. I believe this is 1980s. The top is beaded sequined tassel thingies. The top is very heavy and it has a band of fabric running horizontal. The skirt is like a chiffon, very flowy.  It has a slit in the front.  From shoulder seem to shoulder seam
15 inches across. From shoulder seam to arm is 21 inches. Across the band is 15 inches. Then from the shoulder to the bottom of hem is 52 inches. It does have a metal zipper head in the back. The zipper itself looks like a nylon or a plastic. That’s why I think it’s 80s. Looks to have all the embellishments there none missing. It’s absolutely beautiful pale baby blue color. The pictures just don’t do it justice it’s beautiful.

This magical dress is pure vintage heaven! The perfect little black dress, it has midweight straps, back zip entry, and fabulous bodice overlay. The front hangs like curtains with ruffles, and has a big bow in the center. It extends around back, continuing the ruffling, with a dainty five button closure. Hanger loops are included, and dress is overall in excellent vintage condition. It has a tiny slit in the back and is fully lined. Lining does not have any tears or damage. The only thing missing is the eyelet for the hook above the zipper. Dry clean only!

There are a few loose strings in places but not noticeable or bad. All beads appear to be present but not guaranteed because there are so many it is hard to tell. This is a used vintage dress, so there may be minor flaws, but there’s nothing major. It is a very beautiful dress.
