It is made in our four-way stretch tropical fabric with a sweet heart neckline, gathered panels passing from the side neck down to the lower side seam creating a romantic textured look. Matching gathers are located at the sleeve cap and under the bust for added fullness and a fabulous fit. Buttons run down the center front of this dress across its fitted waist panel down through the fitted skirt that flares out in a mermaid cut at the hem.
The dress has a zipper in the back.

Selling my Stop Staring* Black Cherry Print Dress, size medium*. Kept in great condition!

This dress is very similar to the “Valentina” style dress (see last photos of examples of the style of dress), but unfortunately this dress doesn’t have any brand tag, sizing tag, or tag with fabric/style details. It’s also missing some bow ties on the shoulders (again see last actual photos of dress) 

I do assume that it’s a size medium though. It fits my 6-8 dress form quite well! She measures at 36,28,37.

Fitted fabric, some stretch to it. Most likely cotton sateen because I own a bit of dresses of that material and it definitely feels similar to those dresses.

Approximate measurements of dress laying flat (inches):

Pit to pit: 16” unstretched, 19” stretched
Waist: 12” unstretched, 14” stretched
Hips: 17 1/2 unstretched, 19” stretched
Length (shoulder to hem): 41”

There are a few flaws in this dress. The hem was cut and so needs a new hem sewn. So now has a raw hem. On red button missing on left sleeve. Stitching a bit loose on waist left side. Check pictures. Minor problems that can be fixed by right person. Very cute retro dress. Pre-owned.
