New Lawrence Kazar Sequin Skirt

Formal cocktail dress with intricate beading and sequins by Lawrence Kazar. The dress has a round neckline, attached shoulder pads, and gorgeous scalloped sleeves. The back has a zipper closure. The back of the neckline has a double hook and loop closure strap that creates an oval or teardrop cutout. The bottom of the back has a short slit. It is lined.

The body is black and has black beading. The top is covered in white pearl-like beads, white sequins, and gold sequins. The sleeves, neckline, and back cutout are lined with two rows of white beads. 

It is pre-owned. It has a few places with missing beads and the back center seam, right below the zipper has pulled apart. (see photos)

Size SMALL. The shell is 100% silk. The lining is 100% polyester. Spot clean only.

Knee-Length Dresses

From around the 1990's. 100% silk. Dry clean. Back zip. Open key hole back with 2 hooks. Heavily beaded with black beads. The top has gold beads with pastel sequins in pink, purple and blue. Shoulder pads. Marked a size L. Todays M approx. 8. It measures 36" long. 17" across the back of the shoulders. Laying flat seam to seam it's 18" across under the arms, 15" at the waist, 18" at the hips. There are a few missing gold beads, 2 on the neckline and 2 on the side near the waist. Several black beads are missing under the left arm. Did not even notice until I laid the dress flat to measure. Also a few loose threads. I ship same or next business day.

Geometric, art deco beaded design throughout. The dress closes at the neck back with two hook & eyes, below there is a circle opening and then it closes below with a zipper. The dress has floral sequin flower designs at the shoulder and hip. The dress has shoulder pads and is lined in black poly silk weight fabric. From the 1970s it has the feel of the 1920s.
