Karin Stevens Smocked Top Maxi Dress

Vintage formal 2 piece outfit in very good vintage condition. Item does have a musty smell.  There is a faint stain near the hemline, and a few stitches coming out at the top of the slit in the back of the jacket. No other flaws noted. 

Dress is a sleeveless slip style with a back zipper, side slits, darts, and a high waist that give it a fitted, elegant look. 

Jacket is button front, short sleeve, has shoulder pads, and a back slit with a button at the bottom that gives it an elegant flair. 

Fabric is lightweight and silky feeling with a shiny Jacquard pattern woven in it. 

Fabric content- 60% Acetate, 40% rayon

Ankle length amazingly comfortable form flattering dress, the fabric hugs your body just right. I’ve gotten so many compliments while wearing it. There’s some stretch on the fabric, which also makes it really fun to twirl around in. The fabric is very cooling and breezy. Worn once to a wedding in 2018.
