You are bidding on a Vintage Original “Hummel” Figures. Store Display Plaque. 1947. 187.
Overall the sign is in fair condition due to a lot of crazing throughout the piece. It looks like it might have been dropped and hairline fractures along the bottom/sign portion. The piece is in one piece and does not have any chips and the lines running through it are under the glossy coat so when you run your fingers across the piece you can’t really feel the lines. The boy with the umbrella is in great condition with no chips, flea bites, or cracks.
This is an original 1940’s store display plaque and is very hard to find. If your a collector then this is a must have even with its flaws. This display piece would look amazing sitting on a display shelf. Honestly unless under a bright light or up close inspection no one notice the hairline lines on the sign portion.

This was one of the first 46 Hummels created from one of Sister Maria’s drawings. It was made by master sculptor Arthur Moeller for the Leipzig Fair in 1936. It is the 5” version with a TMK #3 (Circa 1960 -1963). There are no chips, scratches, crazing or mars, it is in prime MINT condition!

In bygone days, the town crier or night watchman was a familiar character in Bavarian towns, keeping the citizens abreast of the day’s events and making sure all was well. For anyone captivated by old-world charms and the artistry of M.I. Hummel, this figurine makes a delightful gift.

Adorable little boy figurine with an arm load od firewood and his axe resting against a stump. This little guy has done a fair days work. This was most likely made in japan in the 1950's by a company like Arnart, as they did a lot of Hummel look alikes.

The piece is 3 1/2 “ tall.  It is in excellent condition.  There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It has the original box.  The box has a fair amount of wear on it.

This figurine is 6" tall (not the small one) and has no cracks, crazing or blemishes, it is in MINT Condition. The trademark places the manufacture of this Circa 1950 – 1960. It was originally crafted by Arthur Moeller in 1935 as one of the first 46 pieces produced for the Leipzig Fair. It was originally titled the “Violinist” and the “Wandering Fiddler”. 

Sister Maria had a love of children, and a whimsical nature, sketching them in various situations. This little boy is playing his violin (fiddle), his bowler hat (with an orange band!) on his head and his umbrella on his back. By the look on his face, he is enthralled! 

An extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory very long ago! There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.

This 7 x 5” figurine is in MINT condition, no marks, repairs, or blemishes except for minor crazing on the bottom (see photo) which is not unusual for its age.  It bears TMK #2 (Stylized Bee) having been produced Circa 1959-1969. Master sculptor Reinhold Unger designed this in 1935  and is one of the original pieces displayed at the Leipzig Fair in 1935. It was originally titled “The little shepherd” and “Evensong.

Being a Nun, Sister Maria was very religious.  Many of her drawings (and therefore Hummel figurines) reflect her faith. Here we have two children sitting on a fence at a trailside shrine with the boy playing a horn to two sheep.  Wow, so detailed and colorful!

Vintage Hummel figurine "School Girl" #81 2/0. This adorable school girl has a basket with a blue blanket and a backpack. There are chips on both orange hair bows in the hair, on her forehead, and her backpack. It appears her head was reattached with glue at some point. There is a "v" with the full bee stamped underneath. Most likely manufactured in the early 1960s. She's in fair to poor used condition. approx 2"D x 5"H

She would be an adorable companion or addition to any collection!

This figurine is 5.25" tall and has no cracks, repair, mars, crazing or blemishes, it is in MINT Condition. The trademark places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1979 – 1989. It was created by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1955 and released in 1964 at the New York World’s Fair.

As always, Sister Maria draws to depict the daily items and special events in children's lives. This figurine, titled “Mountaineer”, depicts a young boy who is traveling the hills of Bavaria. His one hand holds onto his walking stick and his other hand points to the Edelweiss flower in his Tyrolean hat!  

This guy is too charming to resist.

Pair of vintage authentic Hummel chalkware handplanted reproductions Little Hiker #16 and Little Shopper #96 with matching original Hummel labels on bottom.  Some cosmetic damage and small chips but overall in quite presentable good/fair condition for decorative display as a nicely matched pair.  Condition is good for age of chalkware figurines.  Market prices of chalkware conservatively less than porcelain.  Price is for both boy and girl figurines sold as a pair.  Perfect as decor for small child's dresser.
