Vintage Bradford Carousel Daydreams 1994

issued in 1989 as a limited edition exclusively through Ashton-Drake Galleries. This doll is an original design commissioned from artist Yolanda Bello by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company. The doll's head with molded hair, arms and legs are hand-cast in fine, hand-painted bisque porcelain and she is dressed in handcrafted costuming. Jessica has blonde hair and bright blue eyes, which were hand-set, stands approximately 10.5" tall in the kneeling position, and is dressed in a two-piece pastel green playsuit with white bloomers. The outfit is adorned with white eyelet ruffles, ribbon bows and floral embroidered eyelet lace on the collar. This doll's design was retired on December 31, 1990 the mold has been broken. Jessica has only had one owner who took excellent care of her over the many years she had her displayed in an enclosed glass cabinet. So she has no damage.  No Free Shipping.  Price Firm

"Pretty as a Picture" is an original issue in the Barely Yours collection of all-porcelain baby dolls by artist Titus Tomescu — the first all-porcelain doll collection issued by the Ashton-Drake Galleries.
The edition of "Pretty as a Picture" ends forever on a date no later than December 31, 1996, at which time molds for this doll will be broken and no more porcelain will ever be cast.

Kept in original box, never displayed. Comes with all accessories and parts as well as certificate of authenticity.

You are looking at it a Melody in Motion music box titled Gaslight Willie item no. 07197 plays the tune Beer Barrel Polka. Made in Japan by Waco. Handmade and hand painted porcelain cast from an original sculpture by Seije Makane. Introducing Gaslight Willie hear his melody, see him move. Willie is a favorite of collectors, and no wonder he continually evokes warm memories of special times. Slip back into day’s gone by with Gaslight Willie. He turns his head from side to side as he whistles, beer barrel polka underneath a warm glow of a gas light. Gaslight Willie is made of hand painted porcelain. The musical tune is played by battery operated tape player requires three AA batteries not included. This statue stands 12 3/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches deep. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or missing paint. Thanks for looking and bidding.

Zsolnay Pecs Hungary 3317/00/31 Small Cache Pot ca 1889-1891 Rare

I have a lovely little cache pot by Zsolnay, made in Pecs, Hungary between 1889-1891. It shows crazing through-out, and the gold accenting is faded a bit, especially at the inner rim of the pot, but it has no chips or cracks. The script on the bottom was very difficult to read, but I made it out with a loupe and a flashlight to cast it into relief, though the numbers were far more clear. It measures 3" tall and about 2 7/8" across the top. Item is shipped with insurance and is packed VERY carefully.
