- Your Username must be between 6 to 20 characters in length
- Only English letters, numbers, hyphen (-), underscores (_) and period (.) are allowed
- At least one character in your Username
- Only lowercase letters may be used. Capital letters are not allowed
- Hyphen, underscore and period cannot be used at the start or the end of a Username
- Hyphen, underscore and period cannot be used consecutively
- Use of profanity or Usernames that impersonate any individual or brand are prohibited
Your Username is a unique name that identifies your account and can be used to tag you in chats. Your Profile Name doesn’t have to be unique, and is displayed more prominently in chats and on your Profile page. A Username can consist of letters and numbers only while a Profile Name can consist of letters, numbers, special characters, and some emojis.
How can I edit my Username and Profile Name?You can edit your Username anytime by going to Settings >> Edit Profile.
Can I edit my Username after I submit it?Yes, you can change your Username whenever you want except while you have transactions pending.
I didn’t like the Username assigned to me! Can I change it?Yes, a default Username is assigned to make sure everyone at least has a unique Username. You can change it to anything that you want as long as the Username is not already taken and does not violate the restrictions noted above.
What if my Username is taken?Please find an alternative name, perhaps by adding a number to your Username.
What if someone is trying to impersonate me or my brand?Contact us and we will be more than happy to help you.
What can I do with my Username?Other users can mention you using “@” followed by Username on item comments, or across social media platforms.
